Guidelines
BioData Hub Regulations The BioData Hub is a dedicated space for the collection and management of biological and environmental data. We promote collaboration among users to develop scientific research projects, exchange ideas, and optimize technical and bioinformatics resource management.
Scientific Committee of the BioData Hub: • Gabriele Sales (Scientific Coordinator) • Gil Rosenthal • Luca Pagani
Technical Coordinator: • Annalisa Scapolatiello
Opening Hours • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM; 1:00 PM–5:00 PM • Wednesday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Core Principles • Responsibility: Users are required to use the BioData Hub ethically, respecting privacy and data management regulations. Users are especially advised not to upload sensitive or personal data without the explicit consent of the relevant parties. • Collaboration: Active participation and constructive, respectful knowledge sharing are strongly encouraged. • Transparency: The BioData Hub provides technical and operational support to facilitate scientific research by offering users computing and storage resources. Personalized support is available to assist researchers in developing their projects. However, the BioData Hub does not replace the role of the researcher, acting instead as a technical partner. This principle ensures equal access to resources for all users, avoiding imbalances in support allocation.
