Sei interessato/a agli ecosistemi acquatici e
vuoi svolgere un’attività di tesi dinamica a contatto con le persone?

La rete dei canali cittadini di Padova costituisce un ecotopo urbano di alto valore naturalistico e storico-culturale. La sua valorizzazione, tuttavia, è fortemente condizionata dalla percezione che ne hanno le persone che frequentano la città.

Siamo un gruppo di ricercatori fra il Dip. di Biologia e il Dip. di Scienze Storiche Geografiche e dell’Antichità e cerchiamo un tesista triennale interessato a svolgere una tesi per investigare la frequentazione e la percezione sociale dei canali urbani di Padova e degli spazi ad essi legati. Le attività comprendono la preparazione di un questionario, la somministrazione diretta dello stesso ai frequentatori della città di Padova e l’analisi statistica dei risultati ottenuti. I risultati saranno usati per fornire informazioni utili alla gestione di questo ecosistema urbano.

Are you interested in aquatic ecosystems and want to carry out a dynamic thesis work in direct contact with people?

The urban network of canals in Padova represents an urban ecotope of high natural and cultural-historical value. Its valorisation, however, is significantly conditioned by the perception that people in the city have.

We are a group of researchers from the Department of Biology and the Department of Historical and Geographical Sciences and the Ancient World, and we are looking for a bachelor student with the interest in conducting a thesis work to investigate the social use and perception of the urban canals of Padova and related spaces. Activities include the preparation of a survey, its direct administration to people attending the city of Padova, and the statistical analysis of the results. The results will be used to inform the management of this urban ecosystem.
